About the Role:

The Director, Professional Distributor Sales - EMEA is responsible for the commercial strategy and execution across the professional channel in EMEA. Reporting to the SVP of International, this role will drive revenue growth, elevate OLAPLEX's brand presence, and strengthen distributor and partner relationships across diverse and dynamic markets. This is a hybrid role working out of the OLAPLEX UK office.



With oversight of multiple markets and a growing sales team, the Director will develop region-specific strategies, ensure high-impact execution of launches and campaigns, and localize global priorities to meet regional business needs.


Key Responsibilities




Plan Execution & Account Management




Lead the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process and tracking across professional accounts, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders Develop and negotiate commercial and inventory plans with distributors and key accounts, including forecasting and budget planning Drive sales performance to meet revenue and margin goals across the region through the execution of OLAPLEX strategy and partnership with local sales managers Maintain high-impact communication with distributors on launches, pricing, promotions, policies, credits, and support Regularly report on market performance, trends, and customer activity, with action plans to address gaps and build on strengths Ensure the successful execution of all product launches and brand moments within the professional channel Identify whitespace and growth opportunities within designated accounts Build and nurture long-term distributor and customer relationships aligned with business goals Serve as a strategic partner to the SVP, providing regular updates, insights, and commercial recommendations Manage promotional calendars and deliver ROI-focused analysis to inform future investments Lead and optimize quarterly and annual initiatives to drive retailer/distributor sell-through Track competitive activity and share insights to shape regional sales strategy Establish consistent forecasting and KPI discipline across markets Adapt sales strategies to reflect regional regulatory, cultural, and customer nuances

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership




Lead and develop the EMEA Account Manager team, driving a high-performance culture and providing coaching and guidance Build strong, collaborative partnerships across Marketing, Education, Operations, Planning, and Customer Service Ensure effective localization and execution of global toolkits, launches, and education initiatives Work cross-functionally to align sales plans with inventory, service, and operational execution Act as the internal voice of the customer and market, providing insight and advocacy across the international organization

About You:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 8-12+ years of sales leadership experience across EMEA, including direct and distributor-led markets Track record of managing distributors and retail partners and delivering commercial results Professional beauty or haircare industry experience strongly preferred Commercial acumen, including experience with forecasting, budget planning, and P&L ownership Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead regional commercial initiatives Experience working in a matrixed, multicultural environment across multiple countries and regions Willing and able to travel 50% of the time
