For more information, visit Worley.com ROLE: Director, SCM Products REPORTS TO: Group Director, Digital Standards & Enablement LOCATION: Any major Worley office TERMS: Permanent, full time, hybrid The Director, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Products provides global leadership for the portfolio of SCM products to ensure business functional needs and digital capabilities are fit for purpose and aligned with Worley and Global Project Delivery execution strategies, standards and priorities.
The Role:

  • Coordinates with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Function Group Director to ensure business functional needs are known, documented, and addressed.
  • Performs the role of Functional Product Manager for SCM products globally .
  • Oversees implementation of business functional needs for project delivery digital products in the areas of:

o Supplier/Contractor Management
\xc2\xa7 Sourcing
\xc2\xa7 On-boarding
\xc2\xa7 Performance and contract lifecycle management
\xc2\xa7 Quality surveillance
o Project Procurement
\xc2\xa7 Purchasing
\xc2\xa7 Materials Management
\xc2\xa7 Expediting
\xc2\xa7 Logistics
o Contracting (services)
\xc2\xa7 Contract Administration
o Engineering Reference Data / Catalogue Management
  • Reviews Project Data Centric Execution as it releases to SCM products.
  • Supports business specific requirements related to adoption / enhancement of SCM products.
  • Leads networks of Subject Matter Experts and Technical Experts to facilitate two-way communication between Business, Project Delivery, Global Project Delivery Systems (GPDS) and I&DD.
  • Determines strategic roadmap for products in collaboration with corporate strategy, Project Delivery functional needs, GPDS, Enterprise Architecture and broader stakeholder groups across the business.
  • Coordinates with other functional product teams to develop / maintain tool integrations (owning the data exchange agreements and governance for data flowing into the respective supply chain tools.
  • Works with the functional and data science teams to facilitate business analytics needs.
  • Defines the requirements of Standard Product Builds to ensure business functional needs have been met, value is realised, and benefits are validated and captured.
  • Responsible for Product Governance and Standards activities including product classifications, new product requests, non-standard product rationalisation and deviation process, etc.
  • Sets and implements strategies to drive business adoption strategies and heritage product retirement including benefits realization & utilization measurement.
  • Primary stakeholder and owner for GPMO initiatives relating to SCM digital products and standards, relating to fund appropriation/business case, solution implementation, change management and communications.
  • Updates business and SCM Function on current and future technologies.
  • Owner / Author of Management System processes and procedures related to SCM digital standards/products.
  • Provides bid and proposal support including quality control process and capture / sharing of best practice.
  • Manages and communicates SCM digital product capability and marketing materials.
  • Works with GPDS team to establish rapid methods to support accelerated SCM products project start-up / initiation (including capture of value realisation).
  • Responsible for Global Software Register (GSR) maintenance of SCM product data.
  • Drives delivery of digital standards continuous improvement initiatives and innovation.
  • Proactively provides feedback to I&DD commercial team on preferred effective and efficient licensing needs and strategies.
  • Leads organisational change management relating to SCM products including, adoption, training and implementation of product changes (including new products).
  • Manages solution providers (product vendors):

o Coordinating project specific sprint campaigns and configurations
o Tracking product updates and product roadmaps & aligning with Worley strategic roadmap
o Monitoring performance and publishing performance metrics
  • Manages and publishes adoption metrics and analysis of project product usage.

The Requirements:
Job Specific Knowledge / Experience
  • Deep domain knowledge in the use of a suite of EPC/EPCM project delivery-specific applications in the energy, chemicals & resources sector
  • Hands-on practical experience as a project delivery lead specialist with one or more of the major tools / solutions for SCM on major projects or significant
  • Experience with facilitating workshops in a virtual environment
  • Sound understanding of business analysis techniques and methods to extract requirements, document processes and translate business needs into functional outputs
  • Demonstrated experience with working with technical solutions experts to translate functional requirements into robust fit-for-purpose technical solutions
  • Understanding of the importance of applications architecture as it relates to systems strategy and tools selection

Education \xe2\x80\x93 Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field
  • CBAP certification an advantage
  • PMP or Prince2 or equivalent experience
  • ITIL certification an advantage
  • Scrum/agile certification an advantage

HSE Capability:
  • Assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant HSE systems.
  • Assure compliance of all HSE systems, processes and procedures through the training, competence and performance of all personnel (Worley and others).

IT Skills:
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Power suite (incl. Power BI)
  • Demonstrated understanding of systems implementation, integration and lifecycle management processes
  • High-level understanding of enterprise architecture

This role may be located near any major Worley office. Some travel is required on an ad hoc basis.
