Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and sanitised. This role is vital in supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant, hotel, or catering service, contributing to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Wash and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and thoroughly Ensure all items are properly cleaned and stored in designated areas Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Support the kitchen team during busy periods by providing prompt assistance with cleaning tasks Operate dishwashing equipment safely and correctly Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow all hygiene protocols to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services is desirable but not essential Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards is beneficial Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively
