We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dispatch and Distribution Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that our store operates efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing the sales order process, from order entry and invoicing to arranging timely deliveries and providing post sale customer support.You will be responsible for overseeing operations to ensure timely, safe and cost effect delivery of perishable goods, focusing on temperature control, inventory management, route optimization, staff supervision and compliance with food safety regulations. Key responsibility will also include managing dispatch, coordinating with third party logistic providers, maintaining accurate records for traceability and analyzing date to find areas for improvement in the supply chain to optimize company turnover and profit margins.
Skills & Qualifications Requirements
Proven experience in similar roles.
It is imperative you possess strong analytical skills, regulatory knowledge and have strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to sell effectively and engage with customers.
You will be required to have strong logistics knowledge in which you will a good understanding of supply chain principles, transportation management.
Excellent time management skills, enabling efficient prioritisation of tasks.
You will also have the ability to manage and motivate staff teams.
Strong communications skills are essential which will enable you to liaise with suppliers,customers and colleagues.
Understanding of sales performance metrics, excellent
Organisation and multi-tasking skills, a team player with high level of dedication, ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
IT literate, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Require minimum 2 years proven experience as a Sales administrator.
Ability to manage a diverse team, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth and development.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced retail environment.
