THE ROLE

The Dispatch Operative will be responsible for:

Preparing Trailers for dispatch to customer Completing a final quality check of load before it is loaded onto delivery vehicle Ensuring all trailers are intact with required parts included Securing the load for dispatch, ensuring the trailers are strapped and safe Any other duties as reasonably requested by management

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Previous Experience in a similar role Counterbalance Forklift Licence

Duties of the role

Reporting to Logistics Manager

Monitoring and reporting back on stock levels of consumable goods Working with Yard Supervisor to keep yard organised Disassembling or assembling finished trailers in preparation for despatch - dependent on delivery method Stacking trailers for despatch using either FLT or overhead crane Performing quality checks on goods prior to despatch Working with power tools (impact gun, circular saw etc) Ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy Other adhoc duties as required
