We have a fantastic opportunity at our production site in Alton to join our warehouse and dispatch team.
The role.
Main purpose of the role is to work with the Warehouse supervisor to ensure the delivery of all items from production facility is delivered on time and in full. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar despatch role and be able to work in a fast-flowing production department with the ability to work within tight deadlines. A strong grasp of the English language is essential both spoken and written, and previous driving experience is also essential as driving will form the main part of this role.
It will be the successful candidate's responsibility to make sure that the packaging & collation of all GK signs deliveries are delivered to the client & business expectations.
Duties and responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
Receiving, unloading, and storing incoming shipments. Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Conducting regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies. Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed. Monday to Friday - Occasional weekend work maybe required. Flexible early Start time.
Driver Duties:
Safely operating company vehicles, including vans and trucks. Delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner. Ensuring that products are securely loaded and unloaded. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine maintenance checks. Following all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in a warehouse or driver role preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Previous use of a Forklift & Forklift License would be of benefit but not essential as training can be given.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
