Job Description

We're seeking a proactive and dynamic Dispensary Manager to join our team at Phlo in a full-time, permanent position. This is a newly created role that will work directly with the Fulfilment Manager and the Dispensing Team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmaceutical services. You'll be part of a forward-thinking team committed to excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement -- all within a dynamic, tech-enabled environment.





The Job


On a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

Manage and oversee all dispensary operations and team activities, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions in compliance with relevant procedures, regulations, and clinical guidelines Collaborate closely with the fulfilment manager, pharmacists, and warehouse team to set shift priorities and identify opportunities for operational and system improvements Lead and supervise the dispensary team, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions, with support from the Fulfilment Manager Organise and maintain staff schedules to ensure consistent and adequate coverage for all shifts Ensure all procedures and logs are maintained in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), keeping processes current and compliant Work Cross-functionally with the engineering, product, and design teams to enhance the Phlo platforms and digital services

Requirements




Ideally, we're looking for someone with the following:

NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser Qualification Strong understanding of dispensary procedures, relevant regulations, and clinical guidelines to ensure full compliance and safe practice Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Dedicated to maintaining high standards of competency and safety within the team, fostering a culture of best practice An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing Ability to supervise, support, and develop a team, including involvement in recruitment, training, and performance feedback Flexible and responsive to changing priorities and able to implement new processes or guidelines as needed
