Job Description

We're looking for a team-orientated Dispensary Manager to join Phlo in a full-time, permanent role. This is a new position that will be responsible for our growing Dispensary Team to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient processing of prescriptions. This role would be ideal for a candidate with team management experience. You'll be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team in a modern, digital pharmacy environment.

The Job

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

Manage and support the dispensary team to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, safely, and in line with procedures. Collaborate closely with the fulfilment manager, pharmacists, and warehouse team to set daily priorities and keep operations running smoothly. Help with recruiting, onboarding and training new team members and provide ongoing feedback and guidance to support their development. Organise and maintain staff schedules to ensure consistent and adequate coverage for all shifts. Ensure logs, records, and processes are up to date and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Contribute ideas to improve day-to-day operations and support the wider team where needed.

Requirements

The Person

Ideally, we're looking for someone with the following:

+ NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing (or equivalent) + Collaborative and team orientated mindset, with proven experience leading and supporting a team
+ A solid understanding of dispensary procedures, and compliance requirements
+ A commitment to high standards of safety and patient care
+ Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
+ An organised, reliable way of working, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

We're based at Trafford Park in Manchester with close access to the M60 as well as excellent proximity to the tram (5 minutes' walk from Village stop) and bus service routes. We have free onsite parking.
