We are looking for a full-time Dispensary Technician to join our team working on a Specialised Pharmacy contract within a community pharmacy setting

You will be a key part of the pharmacy team, assisting in the assembly and supply of medicines, ensuring the safe and legal supply of prescriptions, and supporting the wider pharmacy team and the Pharmacist.

You will be flexible in your approach, be able to communicate effectively and consult with our patients and other healthcare professionals and hold an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Further development opportunities will be available to progress your career in pharmacy.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Providing information about pharmaceutical products to other healthcare professionals Assemble and prepare prescriptions Order and maintain supplies of medication Labelling of medication highlighting drug interactions Communicating with healthcare providers in regards to interventions, stock availability Manage and record drug alerts and recalls Leader in the support team Train and develop others within the support team Stakeholder visits Working to time restraints Problem solving
You will have:

An active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Basic computer skills Experience as a Dispensary Technician (desirable) Knowledge of Kardex systems (desirable)
