The Distribution Associate perform various warehouse, shipping and receiving responsibilities at our Pall Nottingham, MD distribution facility. Incumbent must possess basic material handling skills and must be willing to learn and continuously expand knowledge, skills and abilities required to support this large distribution center. Teamwork and the willingness to assist and train others in completing daily work is an expectation and is essential for the role.
This position reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the Baltimore Distribution Center located in Nottingham, MD and will be an on-site role. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 2:00pm AM to 10:30pm and overtime is routine, especially the last Thursday and Friday of every month.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Ship and receive product by Loading and Unloading trucks and verify product, while Inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.
Pick, pack, and label items for shipment based on customer orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness of outgoing shipments.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and, perform basic maintenance checks on equipment.
The essential requirements of the job include:High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED). Must exhibit solid math skills including Basic Arithmetic, Measure and conversion, Weight and Volume calculations, inventory math Knowledge and experience using software (i.e. MS Office, SAP, etc.) and able to use WMS handheld system without supervision. Being consistently punctual and reliable, including the willingness to work assigned schedule including required overtime, which will include weekends as business needs dictate. Three (3) year of experience in a distribution / warehouse environment with experience involving at least two of the following: picking, packing/loading, receiving, stocking

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Operating forklifts and Cherry Pickers

The hourly range for this role is $19.75 - $20.75. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
