Distribution Centre Supervisor (12pm-8pm Shift)

What You'll Do

As DCS, you'll take the lead on daily depot operations, making sure everything runs like clockwork. From ensuring compliance and managing people, to vehicle scheduling and hitting performance targets--you'll be the engine behind our success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading, motivating, and supporting the team day-to-day Maintaining safety standards and ensuring legal compliance (DVSA, O'Licence, etc.) Using and managing systems like Verilocation, TMS, Tachomaster & Fleet Check Vehicle scheduling, servicing coordination, and route optimisation Collaborating with other depots and teams across the business Managing holidays, absence, investigations, and performance reviews Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement Supervising the use of IT systems like Epods and scanners Taking part in the on-call rota for smooth out-of-hours support Fostering an environment where teammates can thrive, be themselves, and enjoy what they do

This is not a step-up role--you must already have supervisory or management experience (ideally in a logistics, transport, or warehouse setting)

You'll also need to have:

A valid UK driving licence Proven experience a leading teams Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication--calm, clear, and confident Comfortable using IT and logistics systems Knowledge of relevant health & safety and transport legislation

Bonus points if you have:

CPC qualification or advanced transport compliance knowledge Experience in pharmaceutical/medical logistics Background working with multi-temperature vehicles
