Job Description

Purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Distribution, the Distribution Systems Manager is responsible for all aspects of rates distribution across channels. This includes managing and improving the rate architecture, loading all rates and products into the PMS and GDS, and amending room categories where required.

Key Responsibilities

Own and maintain the rate infrastructure to ensure it is fit for purpose, accurate, and correctly distributed. Take overall responsibility for loading all rate plans, including promotions, quickly and accurately. Oversee the loading of all products and room types into the PMS. Document all processes related to rate loading and ensure documentation is kept up to date. Monitor the distribution inbox to ensure corporate rates are loaded within three working days, and continuously improve processes for accuracy and efficiency. Ensure rate systems remain synchronised and accurate. Manage third parties supporting with rate loading overflow, ensuring standards are met. Lead and support ad hoc projects related to rate management, such as new segmentation initiatives.

Experience

Experience working in the hospitality industry is an advantage. Experience with PMS (Mews) and RMS (Duetto) would be an advantage. * Proven ability to use multiple systems simultaneously.
