Working hours - Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 17.15, Friday 8.30 - 15.00 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the

Vacancy Details
As Divisional Quality Manager you'll be the quality champion across key projects, ensuring that every detail meets or exceeds standards and customer expectations. You'll take ownership of quality planning and delivery, working closely with stakeholders, project teams, and clients.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement quality plans outlining standards, processes, and procedures. Set measurable quality objectives tailored to each project.
Establish and manage quality control procedures, including audits, inspections, and testing.
Maintain comprehensive quality documentation (e.g., reports, records, procedures).
Ensure full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ISO standards.
Proactively identify and resolve quality issues and deviations.
Monitor and report project quality performance against KPIs.
Lead and support the quality team, providing direction and oversight.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on quality matters.
Be the primary quality liaison for customers, driving collaboration and trust.
Key Skills & experience
The successful candidates will have significant experience in a Quality role, ideally with technical or engineering context. You'll have a problem solving mind set, excellent attention to detail and specification comprehension
Customer-facing experience with a collaborative outlook
Courage to set standards and drive a quality-first culture
Strong understanding of Quality Systems (e.g., ITPs)
Experience in construction project delivery
Auditing experience and systems knowledge
Previous project management or lead experience
Education & Qualifications:
HNC in a technical or quality-related field (Degree not required)
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification (preferred)
