Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care and service to our furry clients. This role involves walking dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness during each outing.

Duties

Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialisation. Monitor the behaviour and health of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner. Provide basic animal care, including feeding and administering medication if required. Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their dog's behaviour and needs. Ensure all dogs are secured properly before and after walks to prevent any escapes or accidents. Handle heavy lifting when required, such as assisting with larger breeds or carrying dog supplies.

Experience

Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable but not essential. A background in animal care or pet services is beneficial. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs. Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while maintaining control and safety. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential for success in this role.
