But enough about us. Let\'s talk about your new role with Lowell. As a Domain Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that allow Lowell\xe2\x80\x99s UK business to deliver on its strategic ambitions. Each Domain Architect operates within one of our technology domains; Channels Technology, Business Systems Technology, Data Technology or Platforms Technology, and they operate across the architecture disciplines within their domain. The Domain Architect will work closely with Technical Product Owners, Business Leads and other Architects in designing fit-for-purpose technical solutions that align to and define the technology strategy as well as contributing towards the definition of enterprise architecture standards within a guild-like model.
The Domain Architect will be responsible for designing solutions that comply with the standards defined by our Technology Assurance function, to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of our systems and data, focusing on security and reliability as key non-function requirements. A balanced and pragmatic approach to designs with a focus on both the evolution of the products for future business needs while ensuring that the current products are maintained through the remediation of debt are a key part of this role.
The Business Systems Technology domain encompasses Lowell\'s main CRM, decisioning systems and other back-end processes. Key technologies & applications currently in use are SQL/SSIS, Progress/OpenEdge and FICO Blaze Advisor. The Domain Architect will play an key role in architecting Business Systems to optimise performance and value release to Lowell and in driving the decomposition of tightly coupled systems/ databases.
The Channel Technology domain encompasses all customer facing channels as well as test and robotics automation. This includes customer engagement telephony, Lowell\'s customer website and customer app alongside other digital products. Key technologies & applications currently in use are .Net, Blueprism and Avaya. The Domain Architect will play a key part in enabling Omni Channel capabilities including our Integration patterns and API approach. How we say thank you?
