DOMESTIC/LAUNDRY ASSISTANT - Part-time / Full Time

3 - 5 DAYS / OVER 7 (times 7.30am to 2.30pm)

For quality Care Home in Coatbridge with an enviable reputation for delivering exceptionally high standards of care, and high grades of 6's and 5's, offering care to elderly residents of varying dependencies. Previous experience preferred in Care Home environment, although not essential as full training will be given.

Duties:

1. Daily cleaning of all rooms, lounges, dining rooms, hallways etc., and hovering same.

2. Daily cleaning of bedrooms, en-suites, emptying bins, dusting and hovering.

3. Cleaning bathrooms, shower rooms, toilets etc., including staff areas.

4. Cleaning internal windows.

5. Cleaning and disinfecting sluice rooms.

6. Keeping the Home clean to a very high standard and any other duties as required by Management.

7. Safe storage of cleaning materials, i.e., under lock and key.

8. Ensure sound knowledge of fire procedure, position of fire extinguishers and break glass points.

9. Weekly laundry and domestic lists to be signed daily.

10. To take pride in surroundings and report to Management any repairs required, or accidental damage.

11. Room completely cleaned, high and low level windows on a regular basis.

12. Carpets shampooed when required.

13. Curtains washed when necessary.

14. Assist in laundry, i.e., fold clothes, sheets, and towels.

15. Any other general duties required for the efficient running of the Home.
