Domestic Staff - The Role

We are seeking caring, reliable and hardworking Domestic Staff to join our team. You will provide cleaning and housekeeping services within the care home to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues. All cleaning must be carried out in line with agreed standards, legislative requirements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily cleaning duties in resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and service areas. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home. Follow cleaning schedules and infection-control procedures. Ensure cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored correctly. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate person. Protect the rights, privacy, and dignity of residents at all times. Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents supported by the service. Develop positive working relationships with colleagues across all departments. Attend statutory and mandatory training as required. Take responsibility for maintaining your own cleaning skills and professional development.
