Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare teams Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines Assist with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travelling between locations Good organisational skills to manage multiple care plans efficiently Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication Basic IT skills for maintaining records and completing documentation digitally Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages and backgrounds Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of clients and schedules
