compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistant

Role Overview

You will be providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain independence and dignity. You will work on

single runs and double runs

to cover scheduled shifts.

Working Hours

Full-time position:

40 hours per week

Shifts start as early as

06:00

and finish around

22:00

Overtime available

Salary & Benefits

27,000 per year

Weekly mileage payments

All clients are based within

Milton Keynes

Requirements

Must be a driver with access to your own car

Caring, patient, and trustworthy Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings Experience working in a care home or home care environment is desirable Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and client needs

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and daily activities according to individual care plans Administer medication as directed and monitor health conditions Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' wellbeing Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Drive clients to appointments or outings when required Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all

Pay: 24,420.00-33,705.74 per year
