Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily operations. Responsibilities

Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and any discrepancies. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred. Previous experience in commercial driving or as a van driver is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation. A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with company policies.

Pay: 100.00-130.00 per day
