About Us

A M Planned Maintenance is a leading provider of building maintenance solutions, delivering high-quality services across the retail, hospitality, and commercial sectors. Following the recent award of a major new hospitality contract, we are expanding our operational team and are now looking to recruit experienced Drainage Engineers with strong plumbing skills to support this exciting growth phase.

The Role

As a Drainage Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering reactive and planned works across our client portfolio. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems while providing an excellent level of service to our customers--many of whom operate within fast-paced hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out drainage investigations, repairs, and planned maintenance works

Diagnose and resolve drainage issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure jetting, and excavation where required

Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual drainage descaling works (including overnight works)

Undertake general plumbing duties, including pipe repairs, installations, and leak detection

Respond to emergency callouts and deliver effective, timely solutions

Liaise directly with clients to ensure a professional service and high levels of customer satisfaction

Maintain, service, and correctly use drainage and plumbing equipment

Work in compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer with plumbing capability

Strong knowledge of drainage systems, jetting techniques, and CCTV drain surveys

Hands-on plumbing experience is essential

Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and safely

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Full UK driving licence

Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
