The Role

As Drawing Office Manager, you'll

lead and coordinate all technical aspects of our projects from initial design through to site delivery

. You'll manage our team of structural detailers, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion, while working closely with production, site, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of steelwork detailers internally and externally. Allocate projects and workloads to meet deadlines efficiently. Review and approve fabrication and erection drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Oversee the detailing process from concept to issued drawings. Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers, architects, and clients. Resolve technical queries and design challenges. Attend project meetings, site visits, and weekly progress reviews. Manage Tekla Structures use across the team and maintain document management systems.

What We're Looking For

HNC or higher in structural/civil engineering (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years' experience in the UK steelwork industry. Strong proficiency with

Tekla Structures

. Knowledge of NSSS and industry standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team performance.
