Job Description

We are currently looking for a Drayman with a Class 2 license to join our strong team at our company in Stourbridge. Must have at least 2 years Class 2 driving experience, and preferably hold a fork lift license. Applicants need to be over 25 for insurance purposes.

Must have a CPC with Driver Qualification Card, Current Driving License with the correct classification to drive Class 2 vehicles. A clean licence is preferable, but not essential.

Your role will be:

Drayman- Delivering beer to our customers on a 7.5T or Class 2 vehicle. You will be required to adhere to the following

Prepare vehicle for operation by daily walk around and completion of an inspection sheet, obtaining or scheduling required repairs with superior; validating adherence to road ability standards.
Load vehicle to correct standards taking in to account carrying capacity of vehicle and weight of load to be carried. Securing load for transport.
Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the vehicle; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as driving rules and regulations; clean vehicle exterior and interior.
Maintain delivery, vehicle, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording driver information and completing all relevant driver logs.
