Role Overview

The Project Dredging Manager will manage and oversee all operational and technical aspects of dredging projects in the UAE, ensuring successful execution in compliance with contract specifications, environmental guidelines, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in marine engineering and dredging operations, with strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.

on a 2 YEAR minimum contract.

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of capital/maintenance dredging, land reclamation, and trenching projects Oversee operations of dredgers, support vessels, marine equipment, and site personnel Develop and control project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines and targets Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety procedures, and ESIA guidelines Coordinate with marine authorities, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for stakeholders Perform risk assessments, implement mitigation plans, and enforce HSE protocols Manage dredger mobilization, hydrographic surveys, and dredging software systems Review and approve progress claims, invoices, and contract variations Evaluate project outcomes and apply continuous improvement methodologies

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field 10-15 years of experience in dredging and marine construction, with at least 5 in a management role Solid knowledge of CSD, TSHD, backhoe dredgers, and other marine equipment Experience in handling hydrographic surveys, AutoCAD, Dredgepack, Navisworks, or similar tools Familiarity with UAE marine regulations, port authority protocols, and ESIA requirements Strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills Proven ability in budgeting, logistics, and permit management

Nice-to-Have

Experience with international dredging contractors or large-scale marine projects in the GCC PMP certification or marine-specific project management credential
