About The Role




Due to the continued growth of our business, we are delighted to announce that we are recruiting Driver Trainers to work from our Scotland depot.



This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an award-winning transport team, who have won numerous awards for Operational, Business and H&S excellence over the last two years.


As a Driver Trainer/Assessor, you will work Monday to Friday inclusive. On top of this you will be guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours a week meaning your salary will be 35,000 plus a quarterly bonus of up to 1000. You'll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays




Main Responsibilities:




Supervise employees who are undergoing training or assessment Retrain / coach any staff member observed contravening company procedures, breaches of compliance and health & safety Observe and improve delivery team performance through coaching / recording for further action as required Ensure Drivers' licences are checked in accordance with company procedures and that accurate records are kept Ensure own knowledge of workplace legislation, compliance and any other industry changes are kept up to date to become departmental experts Drivers' tachograph infringements that the driver requires coaching on are done within the time scale. Deliver inductions for every new Driver Deliver annual driving assessments for all Drivers

About You



Skills and Knowledge:




Hold a valid Cat C+E licence with no more than 6 penalty points Full UK Driving Licence Ability to deliver driver CPC training Strong knowledge of compliance and regulations Familiarity with UK routes and geography Experience in supervision or leadership roles Excellent communication skills Flexible approach to work, including occasional overnight stays and travel to other sites for assessments
