Driver & Warehouse Operative wanted at MWS

We're looking for a practical, reliable, and motivated person to join our team. This role is varied and hands-on, covering everything from supporting the production team to handling stock, making deliveries, and calibrating equipment. If you enjoy getting stuck in, being part of a busy team, and taking ownership of your work, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving & Deliveries

- Collect and deliver parts, equipment, and hire stock to customers, suppliers, and sites as needed.

Goods In/Out

- Take receipt of deliveries, check items against paperwork, and prepare outgoing shipments.

Stock Control -

Keep an eye on stock levels, carry out regular checks, and make sure the stores area stays organised.

ESD Scale Calibrations

- Carry out checks and calibrations on scales (training provided).

Production Support

- Help the production team with day-to-day tasks, keeping work moving smoothly.

Hire Stock

- Prepare, track, and process hire equipment, making sure it's maintained, packed, and returned in good order.

What We're Looking For

A full, clean UK driving licence (essential) with minimum 5 years' experience of driving. Someone with a practical mindset and willingness to turn their hand to different and varying tasks. Experience in production, warehouse, or engineering environments is useful, but not essential Good organisational skills and attention to detail. A team player who can also work on their own initiative.

About You

Reliable, trustworthy, and hands-on. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved wherever needed. Enjoys a mix of driving, stock handling, and supporting production. Takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.
