HCM Music Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Drum Teacher to join our team!

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Drum Teacher available on Saturday mornings/ afternoons, approximately from 09:00 - 15:00. This is a self-employed position with a rate of 26.50 per hour for one-on-one lessons, with the potential to earn more when teaching group sessions.

Responsibilities

:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels. Teach techniques, music theory, and performance skills in a supportive environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement. Encourage a love for music through creative teaching methods and activities.

Ideal Attributes:

Reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Ware, Hertfordshire. Hold a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one. Have resident or settled status in the UK. Possess a Grade 8 certificate or equivalent. Be comfortable engaging with both parents and students. Have experience teaching. Be proficient in teaching various grade syllabi, including Rockschool, Trinity, and ABRSM.

HCM Music Academy, based in Ware, Hertfordshire, is a well-established music school offering instrument lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our lessons are conducted both at the academy and in various primary and secondary schools throughout the area.

We tailor our lessons to align with each student's personal goals--whether they're learning for fun or preparing for exams. As a Rockschool and Trinity exam centre, we host exam days once a term. Our tutors are also well-versed in teaching the ABRSM syllabus, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.
