Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fixer/Dry Liner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. The Fixer will work on various projects, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.

Duties



Carry out roofing repairs and installations, ensuring proper sealing and waterproofing. Perform plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, installing fixtures, and maintaining drainage systems. Execute welding tasks for metal repairs and fabrications as needed. Conduct electrical work, including wiring, installations, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in general construction activities such as carpentry, masonry, plastering, and painting. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills



Proficient in roofing techniques with a strong understanding of materials used. Solid plumbing skills with experience in residential or commercial systems. Competent in welding processes for metalwork. Familiarity with electrical systems, including installation and maintenance. Experience using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc., as well as power tools like grinders and sanders. Background in construction practices with knowledge of building codes and regulations. Skilled in plastering techniques for wall finishes. Ability to fabricate components as required for various projects. Strong carpentry skills for constructing frameworks or furniture. Capability to read schematics accurately to execute projects efficiently. Experience in construction painting techniques to achieve high-quality finishes.
