Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a multi-trade operative. This role requires hands-on experience with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall maintenance and improvement of our facilities.

Duties

Carrying out Drylining tasks, tacking and boarding up. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in carpentry work including framing, installation of fixtures, and repairs. Apply plastering techniques for wall finishes and repairs. Interpret schematics to assist in the accurate execution of projects.

Qualifications

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to the construction industry. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all workmanship. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A proactive approach to health and safety practices on-site is essential.
