Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a range of practical skills and a strong work ethic, contributing to various construction and maintenance projects. Duties

Assist in general in construction tasks, including but not limited to painting, plastering, and masonry work. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Support roofing projects by assisting with material handling and installation tasks. Collaborate with team members to build structures according to specifications and schematics. Perform welding tasks as required for specific projects. Carry out electrical installations and repairs under supervision when necessary. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques. Knowledge of painting, plastering, roofing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and reading schematics is advantageous. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Good physical fitness level; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
