Job Summary

We are seeking 10 skilled Duct Erectors to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ductwork systems in various settings, ensuring optimal air flow and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of air conditioning systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Duct Erector will work closely with other tradespeople and may take on leadership responsibilities within the team.

Duties

Install and assemble ductwork according to specifications and schematics. Maintain and repair existing duct systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installation efforts and ensure project timelines are met. Conduct inspections of ductwork to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems with air conditioning systems as they arise. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members as required.

Experience

Proven experience in duct installation or a related field is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Experience with air conditioning systems is highly desirable. Previous experience in equipment repair will be an advantage. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety practices is crucial.
