Job Overview

We are seeking 10 skilled Duct Erectors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the installation and maintenance of ductwork systems. This role involves interpreting schematics, working with air conditioning systems, and ensuring that all installations meet industry standards. The Duct Erector will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety protocols on-site.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from schematics to install ductwork systems accurately. Construct and maintain duct systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of ductwork with other building systems. Perform equipment repairs as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Conduct inspections of installed ductwork to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members during installations and repairs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC systems. Experience in air conditioning installation and maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance. Leadership qualities that enable effective supervision of less experienced staff members.
