We are seeking a skilled DuctworkFabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various fabrication techniques, including welding and assembly. As a Ductwork Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components and products that meet our stringent standards.

Duties

Assemble components and structures according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for fabrication tasks. Perform welding operations, including stick welding, to join metal parts securely. Fabricate sheet metal products using appropriate techniques and equipment. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.

Qualifications

Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience in assembling and fabricating metal components is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with welding techniques, particularly stick welding, is highly desirable. Competence in using various power tools and hand tools relevant to the fabrication process. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards within the workplace.
