Due to expansion of our Crime Department, we are seeking a Duty Solicitor to join our dedicated team in our
Uxbridge and High Wycombe
offices.
The Role
We are looking for a Duty Solicitor to provide representation at the police station, Magistrates' Courts and assist with case preparation. You will join a supportive and expanding crime team offering excellent development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend police stations and Magistrates' Courts in Uxbridge, High Wycombe and surrounding areas
Provide legal representation and advice to clients in criminal proceedings
Prepare case files, draft legal documents and liaise with the CPS and other agencies
Manage a varied caseload efficiently and professionally
Ensure compliance with LAA, SRA and internal quality standards
Participate in out-of-hours duty rota where required
Requirements:
Qualified Duty Solicitor
Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and client-care skills
Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
Full UK driving licence desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: 25,083.52-39,959.72 per year
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
