The Role

As a Bourne Dyslexia Tutor, you'll:

Deliver one-to-one, one-hour sessions in person or online Use our structured, multi-sensory, cumulative intervention approach Work with learners who've already had full diagnostic assessments, so planning is informed and meaningful Create sessions that feel empowering, confidence-boosting, and engaging Share weekly progress updates with families (this can be built into sessions) Be a consistent, calm, trusted presence for learners and parents Contribute ideas, creativity, and energy to the wider Bourne Dyslexia vision
This isn't scripted tutoring.

You'll have autonomy, trust, and support, and your ideas will be heard.

What You'll Need

Level 5 qualification in dyslexia support Experience supporting children or young people with learning differences A current Enhanced DBS Public liability insurance for home-based sessions Confident use of online platforms for remote tutoring if necessary Excellent communication skills and a warm, strengths-based approach
