We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of early childhood education principles.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, social skills, and motor skills.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational programme and share best practices in early childhood education.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Drive initiatives that promote the overall well-being of children in your care.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development is crucial.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of taking initiative when required.
