Are you passionate about shaping the future of early years education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Lecturer to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students on their journey to becoming skilled childcare professionals.

Summary of the Role




You will be responsible for teaching and assessing on childcare programmes, acting as a Programme Lecturer for a group of students, and contributing to course management and planning. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progression, and maintaining high standards of quality and safeguarding.

Actual Salary: 19,675.83 - 24, 904.87 per annum



Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday (8:30am - 5:00pm) and Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm) / 21.5 hours per week




Essential Criteria

Hold a relevant Education & Childcare qualification Minimum grade C/4 GCSE in maths and English (or equivalent) Experience working with children and young people in early years and education settings Innovative and competent in creating a stimulating learning environment Excellent team-working, communication, and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

Act as a Programme Lecturer, setting targets and supporting student achievement and retention Deliver high-quality teaching and tutorials across a range of Early Years courses Implement creative and inclusive teaching techniques, including the use of new technologies Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Accurately record and report student progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes
