We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their development through play-based learning, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn
Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education
Skills
Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
Comprehensive understanding of early childhood education principles
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Driving licence preferred for transportation purposes within the role
