Summary
We are seeking an Early Years Educator to join our dedicated team at Happy Tots Day Nursery in Barrow-in-Furness. This role is crucial in fostering a nurturing atmosphere for children's growth and development, aligning with our commitment to outstanding childcare services.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging educational programs for young children.
Create a safe and welcoming environment that promotes learning. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Observe and assess children's progress and development. Collaborate with team members to enhance the nursery's educational offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery space. Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (essential).
Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting (essential).
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents (preferred). Leadership skills to guide junior staff (preferred). Management experience within an educational setting (somewhat preferred).
