Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role is essential in supporting the development of children through engaging activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social and emotional growth. The Early Years Educator will work closely with parents and colleagues to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning and exploration.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children to learn and play. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence while providing support when needed. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care and education is maintained across the nursery. Maintain accurate records of children's development and behaviour in line with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that may arise. Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery setting at all times.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Experience in childcare practices that promote inclusivity and diversity within the learning environment is advantageous.
