Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing young children in a nursery setting, ensuring they receive high-quality care and education. Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support each child's individual needs. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment and encourage children's curiosity and creativity. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and contribute to a cohesive team dynamic. Provide leadership within the nursery, mentoring less experienced staff members as needed. Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required to effectively engage with children and their families. Ability to manage classroom behaviour positively while fostering an inclusive environment for all children. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to drive initiatives that enhance educational outcomes. Leadership experience is an advantage but not mandatory; a willingness to learn and grow in this area is essential.
