Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development.
Manage room activities and maintain an organised, safe, and welcoming environment.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting learning strategies as necessary.
Drive initiatives that encourage children's curiosity and creativity within the nursery setting.
Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Uphold high standards of childcare practices in line with regulatory requirements.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A LEVEL 3 or higher qualification in Early Years is essential.
Experience of SENCO is desirable.
A good knowledge of the EYFS and an up-to-date references are essential for this role.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
