This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Overview of Duties
Plan and implement educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development in young children.
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to play and learn.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
Have knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and be able to put these into practice within the workplace.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous.
