We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing environment.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
Supervise and support children during daily routines, including play, meals, and rest periods
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Work with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery or childcare setting
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Lead small groups of children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development
Join in with educational outings from the Nursery into the local area
Contribute to team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their well-being
