Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote learning through play. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Manage daily activities and routines to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative approach to childcare. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and wellbeing. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment for children. Knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practices in childcare.
