We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team at Building blocks Little Leigh Pre-School and Wrap around care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive, develop, and explore their potential.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's development and wellbeing. Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention. Lead group activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education within the community. Plan and implement exciting and age appropriate activities in our Wrap around care clubs.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
