Job Title and Purpose
The SECRET GARDEN Nursery is looking for an EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR | ROOM LEADER.
The nursery is situated in Belsize Park near Belsize Park station, close to all transport links.

Key Responsibilities
To foster the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of all children, including those who may have additional or Special Education Needs.
To provide and develop a comfortable, safe, stimulating and welcoming environment
To perform the role of a key worker in the Early Years Childcare Services and ensure that the requirements of the EYFS framework are met

To maintain good standards of hygiene, and comply with our Risk Assessment Procedures and report any health & safety hazards to the setting Manager

To monitor the overall well-being of children within the EYFS framework

To work within the setting's policies and procedures, with particular reference to Safeguarding Procedures, which include EYS Risk Assessment, Health & Safety, Fire and Emergency, and Child Protection procedures

To undertake any other duties as required by the Setting Manager to assist in the overall smooth running of the setting services

Qualifications

Experience in early years childcare Knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework Level 3 and above - essential A valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate - desirable A valid Food Hygiene Certificate - desirable A Forest Training - desirable
Compensation
Hours: 30 hours per week (term-time 38 weeks)
Time and Day: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 15:30 pm (with half an hour lunch break)
Salary: 15 per hour plus holiday pay
