Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 or above Early Years Educator to join our Preschool and Baby Room team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating children in their formative years, creating a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development. You will work closely with children, families, and colleagues to ensure that each child's individual needs are met, fostering a love for learning through play-based activities.

Duties



Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development. Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children and families, building strong relationships with both. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by maintaining a clean and organised environment. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative approaches to early years education. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early years education.

Experience



A recognised qualification in Early Years Education (such as Level 3 or equivalent) is essential. Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and early years frameworks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A patient, caring nature with a genuine passion for working with young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
