First Steps Preschool is a nurturing nursery dedicated to providing quality early childhood education for children aged 0-5 years. Our mission is to create a safe and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive and develop essential skills.

Hours:

40 hours per week, over 4 days

Contract:

Full-time, All-Year-Round

Qualification Required:

Level 3 or above in Early Years Education

We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Early Years Lead Practitioner

to join our team and lead a vibrant

Pre-School Room

About the Role:

As the Lead Practitioner in our Pre-School Room, you will:

Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding learning experiences. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child thrives. Confidently delegate responsibilities to ensure a strong team approach. Work in close partnership with families, colleagues, and external professionals. Support and implement strategies for children with additional needs.

What We're Looking For:

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above. Proven experience leading within a pre-school setting/room. A strong understanding and commitment to inclusive practice. Confidence in delegation and leading a team to meet the needs of all children. A reflective practitioner with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Passionate about creating a rich, stimulating, and supportive learning environment.
