We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children, ensuring their safety and happiness while fostering their growth through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in the nursery setting. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting milestones and any concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to explore and learn. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff or volunteers when necessary.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Drive to create an engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
